In this post I would like to offer up a bit of advice relating to  Internet Marketing For Newbies.

Don’t be a victim!

Let me tell you there is no magic bullet for fast cash online, you should not focus on all the offers sent to your email box just because your on a list. Yes, you can make a short term income with some offers however, to really succeed you need to concentrate on one particular aspect of on line business.

How do you think big companies got started? Imagine this; You open a hardware store in the high street, your selling a small range of items such as sweeping brushes, plastic bowls, buckets etc etc..Now, how do you increase your business and make more money?

Do you A open another small store in another part of town or the next town?

Do you B add value to your existing store by adding more products and giving more choice?

Obviously the answer is B. You don’t want to double your overheads right also, you don’t need to open a car lot just in case the hardware shop fails remember, your one person and there is only 24 hours in one day.

Internet marketing for newbies is a mine field, you will have a tendency to skip from one new mousetrap to another thus,  you will split your time right down the middle plus, your credit card or bank balance will run down so fast your eyes will water.

The money is in the list, how many times do you hear this phrase? plenty, there can be money in a list it is true but, it is not a long term business strategy. If your on a list  your expected to fall for every pre-launch imaginable with phrase like: Dear Jane, as one of my valued subscribers  your my best friend in all the world so, please buy this new product for $97 and get in as an early bird, yes Jane you and a thousand others. By the way Jane, this product will be dead and buried inside of 3 months along with your$97. Don’t worry Jane, I’m already working on the next $97 product which will launch, stop and re launch later when your not looking. Hope you will be interested in my next launch Jane coz your one of my personal ATMs, by the way I’m sending this email from Malibu beach.

Now the above does not tar all the big dogs with the same brush, it would be unfair to do this as many do provide good info and some good free stuff.

For Internet marketing newbies, the best thing you can do to get started is this; write yourself a clear plan and stick to it like glue, base all your decisions on research and before you spend a dime on any scheme, search it out and see what others are saying about it.

1. Decide which niche and check to see if there is a hungry crowd for your niche.

2. Decide if you want to have a web site or blog and make it interactive and fun.

3. Decide how you will make money from your web property.

5. Decide how you will market your site or blog free or paid ads.

6. Outsource anything you can’t or don’t like doing.

7. Write or have written a series of articles to promote your business.

8. Update your content every week.

9. Be patient it takes time to get started properly.

10. Above all don’t give up and don’t skip around stay focused.
